Miracles…they are a mystery to us. TV programs are dedicated to them. We are in awe when they happen. We cloud our thinking that perhaps miracles aren’t for today. You might feel that you will never have a miracle in your own life. Whatever your thoughts, we put miracles in a realm all by themselves which unfortunately, contributes to even fewer bonafide, God-proof, power manifestations from happening.
The Bible tells us that we were created in the image and likeness of God. I believe that not only because the Word says it but because every day I see my nature (you have to love the process) conforming to that truth. Our children are in our image (physical representation of a person) and likeness (a picture or image), but they aren’t us. They haven’t lived what we’ve lived so their experience and wisdom level, is not what ours is. We have facets of our nature that eludes them. What is natural to many of us, seems very un-natural to our kids. So why is it different with God?
God’s nature is a compassionate nature, yet a consuming fire. He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. He speaks of Himself that He is the I AM which is in a continually present tense. He is a God of love. He is good, truthful and righteous. He does ejudicate but only after a never-ending mercy that is shown to us every morning.
The whole universe cries out and shows forth His handiwork, His greatness, wisdom and majesty. He has artistically painted every planet; every star; all of what we know in our world.

God is all power…His nature lives and breathes that word. Then why do we think that miracles are opposed to nature? Why do they blow us away? Why don’t we “expect” them day after day in every area of our life?
It’s true…they ARE opposed to nature…OUR nature! It isn’t natural for us to see someone handicapped just get up and walk out of a chair. It isn’t natural for us to watch a loved one with cancer be set free from that dreaded disease in one moment. It isn’t natural for us to watch our finances, in one hour, turn from poverty to prosperity. But why?
Miracles are not natural to us because they are not part of our nature! They are foreign to us…our mind messes with the very possibility of them occurring! But we must never forget…it isn’t US that is performing the miracle…it’s GOD. And miracles are a normal part of His nature! They are commonplace for Him – just all in a day’s work.
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 1Cor. 2:5
So the next time you or someone you love needs a miracle, allow who God is and His nature to step in and take over. Let’s just move out of His way and let Him be who He is. His power will then prevade every area of your life and miracles, which seem to elude us today, will manifest and soon become a “natural” part of our lives.
Breathe…See…Love…those are miracles in themselves…
May miracles happen every day of your life. www.RedeemtheDream.com
